Usher in June with a movie night or 5K, held in support of a worthy cause. At the end of the month, the much-anticipated Summit Street Fair & Craft Show returns to Springfield Avenue for a day of delicious food and unique decor items that add just the right touch to your home.
You’ll want to grab your calendar and pencil in as many of these events as you can attend.
Enjoy a feature film under the stars when the New Providence Community Pool screens the animated family-friendly movie ‘Sing.’ The event is free to the public. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and grab a late dinner or treat from the Snack Shack.

Join the NJ Sharing Network in saving lives by participating in the organization’s annual 5K Walk & USATF Certified Race. Whether you choose to walk, run, volunteer, or cheer along with the crowd, NJ Sharing Network’s annual Celebration of Life honors all those who’ve supported organ and tissue donation.

New Providence Community Pool hosts its 3rd annual Basketball Tournament. This fun-for-all-ages event kicks off Thursday evening with a free-throw contest. Special guest start Black Jack Ryan, a former Harlem Wizard, will put on a show that’s sure to impress.

Travel to Ireland without leaving Summit as the Tunes of Old East Galway, performed by Jerry O’Sullivan& Lesl Harker, come to the Summit Library. Settle in for an afternoon of toe-tapping fun that celebrates Irish Traditional Dance Music, including jigs, reels, hornpipes and other dance tunes.

Start Father’s Day in a unique way as Summit hosts Cars & Croissants in its thriving downtown. Visit the Summit Farmer’s Market for a delicious breakfast and then check out hundreds of classic cars as they line the city streets.

Sounds of a Summer Night kicks off its season at the Reeves-Reed Arboretum. Guests are welcome to enjoy a picnic dinner while taking in a musical or dance performance. Arboretum members and children under 3 are free; non-members $10, students $5.

Downtown Summit transforms into a vibrant open air market as the annual Street Fair & Craft Show fills the heart of the Hilltop city. More than 200 food and craft vendors are expected to set up shop for the day. Admission is free.
