Paul Borman is truly one of the most well-rounded and top producing Realtors working in Austin today. In both 2011 and 2012, Paul was a finalist for the Platinum Top 50, an award that recognizes the most successful residential Realtors based on sales volume, community involvement, and commitment to continuous education in the industry. “My goal is to keep up with the newest technologies, neighborhood laws, and market statistics. I ensure that my clients are updated and protected as our industry changes,” says Paul. A native of Central Missouri, Paul was the oldest of five children in what he lovingly describes as a “Leave It To Beaver” suburban household. After Paul earned his degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia, his former professor recruited him to join a small startup software company. As one of just 12 employees, Paul helped lead the company to immense success; which has since expanded to thousands of employees in forty-nine states.

When he relocated to Austin, Paul served on the Executive Team as regional Vice President of Sales. Yet after 25 years of achievement in the software industry, Paul realized that he missed the excitement and independence of the startup environment. “I decided I wanted to build my own business helping people buy and sell real estate,” says Paul, who earned his real estate license in 2005. “I love being a Realtor because I love the rewarding sense of accomplishment when I find my clients what they’re looking for, get them a great value, and help them achieve their dream of home ownership.”

One of the core tenants of Paul’s software business was the commitment to exceptional, customer-focused service. “Home ownership is a major factor in most people’s lives to achieve stability and raise a family,” says Paul, who has two young sons of his own. “Recently, a couple came to me interested in renting a house from one of my investors. As we talked about their situation, I realized that home ownership was a real possibility for them. I worked closely with the lender on their financing, and we found them a great home. Now, their little two-year-old girl has a backyard to play in instead of an apartment complex parking lot.”
